Apartments Katic

Our apartments are located in a private house. Each suite has a separate entrance and a secured parking space in the yard. The house is located near a children's playground in a quiet part of town, protected from noise. The house is situated approximately 250 m from the beach, the central urban zone, shops and other facilities. We offer two suites of equal sizes, one of which is located on the ground floor and the other one on the second floor of our house. Apartment on the ground floor has recently been completely renovated and has completely new furniture. Apartment on the second floor offers enjoyment on a terrace overlooking the sea and islands of Brac and Hvar. Both apartments are equipped with air-conditioner. Each 40 square meter apartment has an equipped kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. Bed linen, towels, toilet paper and dishes are implied. Apartments are basically designed for 4 people in combination: 2 +2 persons - the apartment on the ground and 3 +1 persons - the apartment on the second floor. although if needed, each can accommodate one more person.

ADDITIONAL CONTENTS

From Baška Voda and surrounding villages and towns you can climb up the Bikovo mountain, a beautiful natural park, from which you can see the whole coastline around Baška Voda as well as the nearby islands. Biokovo offers the possibility of mountain climbing, free climbing and cycling. Also you can visit the nearby islands during the one-day boat excursions or from Makarska and Drivenik using the ferry lines. You can test your limits by trying sailing, diving, windsurfing or even paragliding. If you're an adventures type of person, be sure to experience the nearby rafting opportunities in the canyon of the river Cetina. Further from the coast you can find in great proximity Imotski town and the "Crveno and Modro jezero" - or the red and blue lake, as well as the Međugorje sanctuary and Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Along the coast you can visit Dubrovnik or Split and when on your way to Split do not miss Omiš and it's famous "Omiške klape" - a traditional vocal quire singing. In Baška Voda you can find several museums among them the Archeological museum where you can see exponates up to 3700 years old while at the Malacological museum (seashell museum) you can find the biggest shellfish collection in the area with exhibits from Baška Voda, the Adriatic sea as well as from other seas of the world. You can see old traditional stone churches among which the oldest one is the church of Saint Rok in Bast (a small village next to Baška Voda) and in Baška Voda you can find the church of Saint Lovro and Saint Nicholas. From May to October you can attend “The Baška Voda summer” which is a cultural event where you can listen to a diverse musical program and at the same time you can also hear some of the traditional vocal quire singing. You can enjoy seafood specialties prepared in various ways and good wine. Baška Voda certainly does not lack interesting events. Baska Voda is an ideal tourist destination and an oasis of active holiday. There is a rich tourist offer which is based on the exceptional opportunities for sports. Picturesque surroundings invite all recreation and nature lovers to relax and enjoy themselves .... Baska Voda offers many sports facilities for various sports: football, basketball, rugby, handball, tennis ...and a beautiful coastal area and attractive sea depths inviting to extreme sports such as windsurfing, scuba diving, parasailing, surfing, underwater fishing.


NOTES

Beside the sun, sea and stunning beaches, Baska Voda can offer everything that is necessary for those who prefer an active holiday as well as for everyone in search of entertainment. Along the infinite pebble beaches you can enjoy swimming in the clear blue sea and relax in the refreshing shad of pine trees. Towards the resort of Brela and even further on you can follow maintained paths along pebble beaches with tourist resorts, restaurants and caffes that during the night turn into places of vibrant night life. To the south-east there leads a maintained path but you can follow a wild path by the sea all the way to Makarksa which is a small administrative center just 11 km south of Baška Voda.
