Close to the apartment (10-30m) are very good and famous Rijeka restaurants and cafes: Premier (possible breakfast), Bard (Irish pub), Bar Bar, La Rose (French restaurant), Olive (coastal restaurant). The apartment is located in the old town in the center of Rijeka, where there was a settlement during the Roman Empire. Nearby are Main Street Korzo and Rijeka "Riva" and Port, the main promenades in Rijeka. Rijeka is one of the 4 largest cities in the Republic of Croatia, the largest port on the Adriatic, and the administrative and tourist center of the Kvarner.
